Triple Crown Balancer Gold is a highly fortified pelleted ration balancer built for the horses that don't need many calories: easy keepers, ponies and miniature horses. A small daily serving fills the vitamin, mineral and amino acid gaps in a hay and pasture diet, or in a diet where grain or fortified feed is fed below the recommended rate, without adding a pile of calories.
It is whole grain, soy free and molasses free, with a lower 13.5% protein level, roughly 1,300 kcal per pound, and an estimated NSC of 16.3% (6.4% sugar, 7.8% starch). Beyond the basics, Triple Crown adds gastric buffering, chromium to support insulin sensitivity, probiotics and digestive enzymes, and an amino acid package with whey protein to support muscle.

Balancing pasture and/or hay, or unfortified grain diets (assumes your horse eats 1.5 to 2% of body weight in hay or pasture daily). Daily amount per horse:

Adjust forage or unfortified concentrate (oats, corn, barley, rice bran, beet pulp) to keep your horse in the body condition you want. Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times, and store the feed in a cool, dry place. Chromium supplementation should not exceed 4 mg per day, and do not feed added selenium beyond 0.30 ppm in the total diet. Contains added copper; do not feed to sheep. Do not use if old, moldy or contaminated with insects.
