Know Before You Buy
- Not a complete meal on its own. Instinct states this product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
- Animal proteins in this recipe: Cage-free chicken (chicken including ground chicken bone, chicken liver, chicken heart). Instinct's label image also lists salmon oil.

RawBoost+ Mixers Digestive Health are small freeze-dried raw pieces made to sprinkle over your cat's regular food. Instinct builds this recipe around cage-free chicken with pumpkin, sweet potato, chicory root, apple cider vinegar and a probiotic, and positions it as a topper that brings flavor and function to the bowl. It can also be handed out as a tasty treat.
What's actually in it
Chicken, including ground chicken bone, is the first ingredient, followed by chicken liver, pumpkin seeds and chicken heart. Dried pumpkin, sweet potato and dried chicory root add fiber, which Instinct includes to support healthy digestion, along with live Bacillus coagulans, a probiotic that Instinct includes to support a balanced gut. Annatto extract is a plant-based color, and mixed tocopherols and rosemary extract keep it fresh. Fiber is high for a topper (up to 15%), which is by design for this recipe.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
It suits a healthy adult cat that's a picky eater or that could use some variety on top of kibble, and families who like the idea of adding freeze-dried raw without switching foods.
It isn't a meal by itself, and it isn't right for a cat avoiding chicken. Because Instinct's label image lists salmon oil, don't count on it being fish-free. Serve it dry as a crunchy topper. Wash your hands, and your cat's bowl, after serving, the same as you would with any raw meat. Always keep fresh water out.
Sizes, and how much you get
We carry the 5.5 oz bag, which holds roughly 39 tablespoons. For a 10 lb cat getting 2 tablespoons a day, that's close to three weeks. Tablespoon counts are worked out from Instinct's published calorie figures and are close estimates.
Storage
Reseal the bag after each use and keep it somewhere cool and dry. Wash scoops and bowls after use.
