Instinct's Grass-Fed Beef Bone Broth is a pour-over for your dog's bowl, made by Nature's Variety. Instinct describes it as 100% human grade and designed it to add a flavorful hydration boost to kibble or a freeze-dried meal. It's a short, simple recipe: beef bone broth with a little pumpkin, tapioca, chicory root and ginger.
What's actually in it
Beef bone broth is the first ingredient by a wide margin, and the only animal ingredient. Pumpkin and ginger are ingredients Instinct includes to support healthy digestion, chicory root is a source of fiber, and tapioca gives the broth a little body. Instinct lists collagen at 2.0% minimum. It is mostly water (up to 96% moisture), so it adds very few calories.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
It suits a dog of any size or age who eats a complete and balanced food and could use more moisture in the bowl, a picky eater who perks up at something savory poured on top, or a dog who doesn't drink much on its own.

Sizes, and how long a carton lasts
Sold as a 16 oz carton. Used at a few tablespoons a meal, a carton lasts most small and medium dogs a week or more. At Instinct's full upper amount, a large dog will go through one in a day or two.
Storage
Keep unopened cartons somewhere cool and dry. Instinct's direction once opened: "Seal and refrigerate any leftovers and use within 7-10 days for optimal freshness." Not for human consumption.
