Fromm Tenderollies Soft & Savory Dog Treats
Tenderollies are Fromm's soft, chewy little rolls, made by Fromm Family Foods, the family-owned company in Mequon, Wisconsin. At 2 kcal a treat they're small enough to hand out all through a training session, and soft enough for puppies and older dogs who'd rather not crunch. We carry two flavors, each with its own ingredients below. Neither one contains chicken, and both are made with whole grains.
Bac'n Chedd-a-Rollie Flavor
Know Before You Buy
- A treat, not a meal. Fromm states that this treat is meant to be fed in moderation and is not a complete diet.
- Animal proteins in this flavor: Bacon, pork fat, cheese.
- Contains: Pork ... Dairy (cheese) ... Grains (brown rice, pearled barley, white rice) ... Peas (pea protein).
- Does not contain: Chicken, beef, fish, egg, corn, wheat, soy or potatoes (per the manufacturer's ingredient list).
- Grains come first. Brown rice, barley and white rice lead the list, and bacon is sixth, so think of this as a soft grain treat with bacon and cheese flavor.
- Life stage: Fromm describes Tenderollies as suitable for dogs of all breeds and ages.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't
Tenderollies suit dogs of any age who like a soft treat, and they work especially well for training because they're small and low in calories. Both flavors contain pork fat and grains, and both use pea protein, so they aren't the right pick for a dog avoiding pork, grains or peas. The Bac'n Chedd flavor also contains dairy. Feeding statement
This product is intended to be fed in moderation as a treat and is not a complete diet. Treats must be counted towards the total daily calories your pet consumes and should be limited to less than 10% of your pet's total daily caloric intake.
Feeding guidelines
Fromm doesn't publish a set number of treats per day for Tenderollies. Their guidance is to keep treats under 10% of your dog's daily calories, and the full feeding guidance is printed on the bag. At 2 kcal each, even a busy training day leaves plenty of room.
Sizes
Bac'n Chedd-a-Rollie, 8 oz bag ... Beef-a-Rollie, 8 oz bag.
Storage
Reseal the bag after each use and keep it somewhere cool and dry. Keeping the treats in their original bag means the lot number stays with them.
