Farnam Repel-X is a ready-to-use, water-based fly spray for horses, dogs and their surroundings that needs no mixing. It kills and repels flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, fleas, chiggers and lice and can be sprayed or wiped on without a greasy residue.

Ingredients
Active ingredients: Pyrethrins 0.05%, Piperonyl Butoxide 0.50%, Permethrin 0.10%. Other ingredients: 99.35%.
Directions
Use full strength. Spray: remove excess dirt and dust, then mist lightly over the horse while brushing against the lay of the hair; use a sponge or cloth around the eyes and mucous membranes. Wipe-on: brush thoroughly (shampoo and dry very dirty horses first), then apply liberally with a sponge, soft cloth or mitt, paying special attention to legs, belly, shoulders, neck and face. Repeat daily or as often as needed. Do not use on foals under 3 months.
Care and Safe Use
CAUTION: Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, using tobacco or using the toilet. Do not use on animals under 3 months old, or on sick, old, debilitated or medicated pets. Do not use on cats. Do not apply to horses or foals intended for slaughter. If your pet shows sensitivity, bathe with mild soap, rinse well and call your veterinarian if signs continue. Extremely toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates; keep out of storm drains, ditches and surface water. Highly toxic to bees; do not let it drift onto blooming plants while bees are foraging. If on skin or clothing, remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes, then call a poison control center or doctor. Read the full label before use.
