Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Sensitivity Select Small Bites Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food
Same food as regular Sensitivity Select. Smaller pieces. That is the whole difference, and we checked both packages side by side rather than take anyone's word for it... identical ingredient list, identical guaranteed analysis, identical calories.
So if you have a small dog on an elimination diet, or one who is simply defeated by a full-size nugget, this is the bag. If your dog is bigger, buy the standard one and save yourself nothing but a bit of chewing.
What it is, for anyone arriving here first
Sensitivity Select is built on four birds and nothing else: turkey, duck, goose and quail, plus turkey liver. No beef, no fish, no chicken, no egg, no dairy, and no pea ingredient of any kind. That list of absences is the product.
One honest caveat about the words "novel protein." Novel means a protein your dog hasn't had before, which depends on your dog rather than on the bag. Goose and quail are genuinely uncommon. Turkey is in a great many foods and it is the first ingredient here. If your dog has been eating turkey and reacting to something, this may not give you the clean slate you want. If the suspicion is beef, chicken, fish, egg, dairy or peas, it rules all of them out in one purchase.
Elimination trials are slow and strict... usually eight to twelve weeks with nothing else passing the dog's lips, treats and flavoured chews included. Worth a conversation with your vet before you start rather than halfway through.

Read off the bag in our store. At 33% fat this is a rich food, which matters more for a small dog than a large one... a quarter cup too much is a bigger proportional error on a 12 lb dog. A dog with a pancreatitis history needs a vet's view first.

Calorie content
5,273 kcal/kg ... 227 kcal per cup. A cup means a standard 8-fluid-ounce dry measuring cup, filled level, holding about 43 grams. It does not hold 8 ounces by weight, so measure by volume rather than on a scale.
Feeding guidelines
Dr. Marty's published amounts for the Small Bites bag, dry and before water, split across two meals. The chart stops at 25 lb, which tells you who it was built for.

Starting points, not prescriptions. Check body condition after a fortnight... ribs findable under a thin covering, a waist visible from above... and adjust.
How to rehydrate
Warm water at two parts food to one part water, three minutes, then stir through. Small pieces take up water quickly, so don't wander off. The food is raw and uncooked, so handle it like raw meat and don't leave a made-up portion out.
Switching over
Ten days. 25% on days one to three, 50% on four to six, 75% on seven to nine, all of it from day ten. Moving between Small Bites and the standard bag needs no transition at all, since it is the same food.
Sizes, and how many cups you get
6 oz, 16 oz and 48 oz, roughly 4, 10½ and 31½ level cups. There is no 80 oz Small Bites. For a 15 lb dog eating a cup a day that is about four days, ten days, and a month.
Storage
Seal it fully after each use, cool and dry. Dr. Marty puts an opened bag at up to three months, shortened by heat and humidity.
