Shredded chicken and turkey in broth, in a small-breed cup. Two things to know: there's a third species in it, and it has the highest feeding volume of any wet food Stella makes.
There is salmon oil in it
At position fifteen. And it isn't just this recipe... every single Lil' Bites Savory Stews recipe contains salmon oil, including the plain Chicken, the Chicken & Duck and the Beef & Chicken.
So a cup labelled Chicken & Turkey contains three animal species, and nothing on the front says so.
If you're avoiding fish, buy from Stella's Shredrs line instead. Their Shredrs Chicken & Turkey is the same base recipe with no salmon oil at all. We stock it.
62 calories a cup, the lightest wet food Stella makes
All twelve of Stella's wet dog recipes print the same guaranteed analysis, so calories are the only real differentiator. This is the bottom of the range:

A 26-30 lb dog is told to eat up to 12 cups a day of this, the highest figure on any Stella wet food page. That's a full case every day.
If you're trying to keep weight off a dog, a lighter food that still fills the bowl is exactly right. But as a complete diet this is the most expensive of the six to run, because you buy more cases for the same calories. Do that arithmetic before you commit... and for most people the honest answer is to use it as a topper.
Worth noting: Stella's page for this product gives no topper guidance at all, where their Shredrs pages explicitly say "meal or topper." Ask us and we'll work out a topper amount for your dog.
Lil' Bites is Shredrs plus two ingredients
The two lists match item for item in the same order, with exactly two additions here: turmeric and salmon oil, inserted after the taurine. 799 kcal/kg against 798 for the Shredrs twin, and the same guaranteed analysis.
So the real differences are the container, those two ingredients, and who Stella says it's for. Stella does not state anywhere that the pieces are smaller in Lil' Bites, despite the name. If piece size is why you're buying it, ask us and we'll open one.
10% protein is not what it looks like
This is 83% moisture. Take the water out and the 10% protein becomes roughly 59% on a dry-matter basis, higher than any Stella kibble. The arithmetic is 10 divided by 17.

Stella's instruction is to feed adult dogs 3 to 4 cups per 6 lbs of body weight per day.

Stella adds that puppies may need up to twice the adult amount. Keep fresh water available and refrigerate what you don't use.

On the label statement
Stella describes this as complete and balanced and formulated for small breed dogs, but publishes no AAFCO nutritional adequacy statement and names no life stage on their page. We checked twice. Ask us and we'll read it off the cup, particularly if this is going to be your dog's only food.
