| Growth: 18-24 months (900-1000 lbs) | 2.0 | 18-20 |
For horses not near 1,000 lb mature weight, estimate 0.1-0.2 lb Enrich Plus plus 2.0 lbs hay/pasture per 100 lbs BW daily. Moderate-work horses may need extra calories from grain or a Purina performance feed. For late gestation/lactation add calories via grain or a breeding/growing feed; easy-keeper mares in the third trimester: 0.2 lb per 100 lbs BW daily. Faster growth can be achieved by adding grain, but a Purina growing-horse feed is safer and more successful.
