Instinct Healthy Cravings Variety Pack Wet Dog Food Topper Pouches
Know Before You Buy
- Not a complete meal on its own. Instinct states Healthy Cravings recipes are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
- Animal proteins across the pack: Beef (beef broth, beef, beef liver), chicken (chicken broth, chicken, chicken liver), lamb (lamb broth, lamb), eggs.
- Contains: Beef ... Chicken ... Lamb ... Egg ... Peas (legume).
- Does not contain: Grain, corn, wheat, soy, potato, fish or dairy (per the manufacturer's ingredient lists).
- Each flavor carries a second meat. The Beef recipe contains chicken, and the Lamb recipe contains beef and beef liver. No pouch in this pack is chicken-free except the Lamb, and no pouch is beef-free except the Chicken.
- Life stage: Instinct does not publish an AAFCO life stage statement; it is labeled for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
This 12-pack brings together three of Instinct's Healthy Cravings pouch toppers: Real Beef, Real Chicken and Real Lamb, each in a savory gravy. Instinct, made by Nature's Variety, designed them to add flavor and moisture to a dog's regular food, and a mixed box is an easy way to keep a picky eater guessing.
What's actually in it
Every pouch starts with a broth and a named meat, with liver and eggs close behind, and is thickened with ground dried peas and guar gum. The recipes are grain-free, and Instinct notes they are made without potato, corn, wheat, soy, by-product meal, or artificial colors or preservatives. The names tell you the lead protein, but not the only one, so read the per-flavor lists below if your dog avoids a particular meat.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
It suits a dog who eats a complete and balanced food but likes variety on top, and families who want to find a favorite flavor before buying a full case.
It is not a complete meal on its own. Because the pack mixes beef, chicken and lamb, it isn't the right choice for a dog avoiding any one of those, or egg. If you're unsure, our Personal Pet Consultant is happy to help ... call 732-938-4470.

AAFCO statement
Instinct Healthy Cravings Recipes are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.
Feeding guidelines
Instinct publishes no daily amounts for these toppers, only that they are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding. Keep toppers to a small share of the day's calories, and always keep fresh water out.
How to use it
Instinct suggests using it as a topper or mixer. Tear open a pouch and spoon some or all of it over your dog's regular complete food. Because it adds calories, trim the main meal a little if your dog starts gaining. A new topper is easiest on the stomach when you start with a small amount for the first few days.
Sizes, and how long a case lasts
Sold as a 12-pack of 3 oz pouches across the three flavors. At one pouch a day, a pack lasts about twelve days.
Storage
Keep unopened pouches somewhere cool and dry. Once a pouch is open, cover and refrigerate any unused portion and use it within a few days.
