What's actually in it
Pork leads, followed by fish broth and wild-caught salmon. Carrots, kale and blueberries come next, with millet and tapioca for carbohydrates. Sunflower oil adds fat, and the recipe finishes with turmeric, sage and thyme.

These are starting points, not prescriptions. If you serve it alongside kibble, cut back on both so the day's total stays about the same. Check your dog's body condition after two or three weeks... ribs easy to feel under a thin layer, a waist visible from above... and adjust. Always keep fresh water out.
Switching over
Change foods gradually over about a week. Start with roughly a quarter Freshly Crafted Pork & Salmon mixed into the old food, move to half, then three quarters, then all Freshly Crafted Pork & Salmon. Going slowly gives your dog's stomach time to adjust.
Sizes, and how long a case lasts
Sold as a single 11 oz carton or a case of 12. For a 20 lb adult eating Instinct's 1¾ packs a day with nothing else, a case lasts about a week. As a topper or a once-a-day meal, it goes much further.
Storage
Instinct notes these meals are ready to serve, with no fridge or freezer needed before opening. Keep unopened cartons somewhere cool and dry. Instinct's direction once opened: "Refrigerate unused portion in a sealed container up to 4 days."
