Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Radiant Select in Turkey Bone Broth Wet Dog Food

Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Radiant Select in Turkey Bone Broth Wet Dog Food

Ready to serve, straight from the tub. No measuring, no warm water, no three-minute wait.

Who it suits

The convenience is most of the appeal. The freeze-dried bags are excellent and they are also a small ritual at every meal, which is fine at home and a nuisance when you're travelling, boarding the dog, or leaving feeding to someone else for a weekend.

Then there's the moisture. Older dogs, dogs who don't drink much, and dogs recovering from something all do better with water arriving through the food. Bone broth carries smell and flavour, which is why this works on a dog who has gone off their dinner, and there's nothing to chew for a dog with worn or missing teeth.

It works mixed into a dry meal as well as fed on its own, as a way of making dinner more interesting without changing the diet underneath.

What we can and can't tell you about what's in it

Straight answer: we have not published an ingredient list or a guaranteed analysis for this product, because we have not verified one.

Everything else in the Dr. Marty range on our site carries figures read off the physical package in our store. We did that because Dr. Marty's own website turned out to be wrong on five of their products, in some cases on every figure. For this wet food we have neither a package read nor a panel we'd trust, so rather than copy numbers we can't stand behind, we've left them off.

The freeze-dried Radiant Select is a fish-forward recipe with the highest omega-3 guarantee in the line and a biotin minimum, and it contains beef heart and egg as well as fish. We have not confirmed that this wet version matches it. A shared name is not a shared recipe, and that matters in both directions... both for anyone buying it for the omega-3, and for anyone avoiding beef.

If you want the ingredient list or the analysis before you buy, ask us. We'll read the tub, tell you what it says, and then put it on this page properly.

Sizes

Single 6.3 oz tub, or a 12-pack. The single is the sensible way to find out whether your dog takes to it.

Serving and storage

Serve at room temperature rather than cold from the fridge... dogs smell food better when it isn't chilled, and smell is most of what makes them eat. Refrigerate leftovers and use within a couple of days. Wash the bowl after each meal as with any wet food.

We also can't tell you whether this is labeled as a complete meal or as a topper, because we haven't verified it. Ask, and we'll look rather than guess.
