Bag Balm is produced by the Dairy Association Co., Inc., which is based in Vermont, USA. Bag Balm is made from a blend of lanolin, which helps to retain moisture, and petrolatum, which forms a protective barrier on the skin. It also contains antiseptic 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate as an added ingredient.
The company's main focus is on the production and distribution of Bag Balm, and it has become a trusted brand for various skin care needs, including relief for dry skin, chapped lips, and minor wounds. While Bag Balm originated as a product for livestock, it has gained popularity among individuals for its versatile uses.
It is important to note that while Bag Balm has a long-standing reputation for its effectiveness, the company's animal testing policies are not known. It is recommended to reach out to the company directly for up-to-date information regarding their cruelty-free and animal testing practices if there are any.
